At age 58, I’ve crossed another one of my “Bucket List”. On the Hilly Hundred Weekend Day #1, I rode my 1983 Gitane Track Bike “fixie” (bought new at Bicycle Garage Indy)- powered up all the hills. That equates to about 54,800 pedal strokes without the ability to coast! Added a rear brake and geared it at 46 X 18. Hilly Day #2 was a beautiful & peaceful ride, swapping bikes & riding “Butter” my Look 566 road bike. Met new friends and enjoyed the donuts!

Bruce, thanks from everyone at Bicycle Garage Indy for sharing Your Bicycle adventure at this year’s Hilly Hundred Weekend! Your 1983 Track bike must have been purchased for the opening season of the Major Taylor Velodrome!
